Acacia Justice: When Every Door Closes
When Every Door Closes follows Mamadou Camara, an asylum seeker from Guinea who fled political persecution. Each illustration depicts a different stage of Mr. Camara’s journey and how the limbo of his asylum claim affects him and his family. While Mr. Camara is fictional, his story is based off of the legal struggles of many immigrants today, deftly written by the Acacia Justice team.
